Artist Bio
Teresa Kelly-Tagas has a passion for creating art in whatever media best suites her inspirations. She works with watercolor, pencil, pastels, acrylic, oil, mixed media and sculpture. She has studied art through workshops and books, spending many hours refining her skills. She has come to realize the importance of being true to one's personality and the style it best creates. Teresa has studied also with the following artists: Susan Blackwood; Ray Campeau; Graham Flatt; Karen Garr; Ned Mueller, Gregory Packard and Aaron Schuerr.
Teresa was Chairman of the Montana Institute of Arts - Bozeman Artists 2002-2004. She was Chairman for MIA-BA 1st Annual Art Show - 2002, and 3rd Annual Art Show - 2004
Teresa demonstrated the use of acrylics to the MIA-Bozeman Artists - 2008, has tutored gifted elementary students in drawing - 2008, was a Guest Artist for the Belgrade Middle School After School Art program- 2002 and an Artist-In-Residence at Hawthorne Elementary School in 1999.
